Post Your Congratulations Here!

What Great News!

Rev. Betsy & Vic have a sweet, handsome 9lb 7oz baby boy. He is so cute! As of now, Baby Boy Snyder hasn't been named but we should know more this afternoon. As I was leaving the hospital he was having a Singleton/Snyder fit because he was ready to eat. Momma Betsy was getting ready to feed him for the first time. They are both doing great!

Victor and Rev. Betsy,

Our very best wishes to Dad, Mom and the baby! Any birth is a gift from God, but He gave special attention to yours.

To the baby:
May God bless and keep you
May your wishes all come true
May you always do for others and let others do for you
May you build a ladder to the stars
And climb on every rung
And may you stay forever young.

Mary and Linda send our love and congratulations on a beautiful baby boy. Love the name. You three make a beautiful family. Remember, the best is yet to come. With every year, it just gets better and better (until the teen years, of course--but they come out of that EVENTUALLY). Exciting times are ahead!

I'm pleased for yall and for Penn.

Len and I have always had a good time -- but never as much fun as we have had with our kids these last 7 plus years.

The Eastern Orthodox see raising kids as a parallel experience to the monastic life. And Len and I have found that parenting is rich ground for spiritual formation -- ours as much or more than theirs.

We try to remember that positive spin when we are exhausted and up in the middle of the night with a sick kid or when one of the girls is throwing a fit in a public place.

Katherine says she is going to pee in her pants if she can't go to the bathroom -- but the light is off, so it's too scary.

Must go.

Grace and Peace,
Beka
